The Junior Library
Frost Junior Building
This project was a refurbishment and extension to a 30 year old existing building which had little to no wall and roof insulation to create a highly interactive learning centre for Design Technology. Extensive effort and planning was made to retain the original building materials to limit new material consumption.
Senior Library Refurbishment
This building was built in the early 1970's & was refurbished to become The Wellbeing Centre accommodating Student Support Services.     The Science Labs not been updated since the early 1970's therefore salvaging the materials from the existing fit out was limited.
The refurbishment of an existing 25 year old lecture created a valued teaching and presentation space. The original space was rarely used due to its limited seating numbers, lack of lighting control and poor acoustics. Through careful planning and briefing the seating numbers were doubled with new seating with tablets, low energy lighting installed, updated IT system, acoutics treatments applied to the ceiling and air-conditioning ducting. New carpet, curtains, painting and blinds were selected to complete the refurbishment.   The project budget was limited therefore extensive planning and assessment was implemented during every phase of the project to ensure the client's expectations were met.
Abu Dabi Early Learning Centre
In working closely with the science staff at the school, Towill Design Group devised a flexible classroom arrangement which enabled staff to conduct lessons in a variety of ways in a restricted classroom area.
